Plenty of keepers swore they would never pay for an app, and the honest answer is that you might not need to. KeeperOS Free covers your whole collection — unlimited animals, rooms and racks, full care logging, import and export — free forever, ad-free, no card required. KeeperOS Pro starts at $6 a month, which is less than a month of feeder rodents, and it is worth it at the point where you want to manage the collection as a system: reusable Care Profiles, the full Calendar, Keeper Insights, feeder forecasting. Annual billing is two months free and you can cancel any time.

KeeperOS is made by KeeperOS LLC, the team behind Hognose Hub. It is a small operation built by people who keep and breed reptiles, and every feature in it exists because somebody was doing that job by hand first — the rack view, the feeder burn-down and the clutch grid all started as somebody's spreadsheet. No, and that is the main reason KeeperOS exists. Keeping and breeding are the same app and the same account: when you add pairings, clutches and an incubator, they attach to the animals whose feeding and growth history you have already been logging. The gecko you started with keeps its whole record. You change tier, not tool.

Your data is yours. We do not sell it and there are no ads anywhere in the product on any tier. Every record is scoped to your account at the database level, so no other account can read your collection. Every account — Free included — can export its full records from the Export page, and bring an existing collection in from a CSV just as freely. What we collect and why is set out in the Privacy Policy.

For western hognose, yes: named morph resolution, pairing odds on a project, and expected-versus-actual scoring on a clutch that can promote a het to proven. For other species the care, feeding, rack, clutch and incubation tracking all work exactly the same, but the morph and pairing-odds engine is hognose-only today. More species are in progress. If a genetics engine for your species is the reason you are here, that is worth knowing before you sign up rather than after.

Any reptile you keep. The care vocabulary is reptile husbandry — water, feed, weigh, clean, mist, UV — with species care defaults, rack and tub layouts, feeder sizing and growth tracking. It is reptile-first by design and is not built for fish rooms, aviaries or small mammals.

Yes. There are two live demos — a keeper view and a full breeder view — on the homepage and at the bottom of this page, and neither asks for an email address. They are the real application with sample data in it, not a video.

Yes. KeeperOS runs in the browser on phone, tablet and laptop, and installs to your home screen like an app. The room view is designed for one-handed use at the rack — you tap the tub in front of you and log from there.

Yes — CSV import is free for every account, and your first stop can be the free collection analyzer at /analyze, which reads your file in the browser and shows what will come over before you even sign up. Full activity history import — meal-by-meal feeding logs and weights — is not available yet, so plan on your animals arriving with their details, a starting weight and a last-fed date rather than their whole back catalog of feedings.

You keep your account and your data. Cancelling drops you back to the Free tier at the end of the period you have already paid for, not immediately, and you can export your data as CSV before or after. Nothing is deleted because you stopped paying.

Yes — 14 days, with no card required and no automatic charge. It is not something you switch on at signup: you start on KeeperOS Free, and the first time you reach a KeeperOS Pro feature in the app — Care Profiles or Keeper Insights — the offer to try Pro free for 14 days appears there. Nothing is billed when it ends. You simply go back to KeeperOS Free with every record, every rack and every care-profile assignment still in place, and you can subscribe whenever you want to.
