KeeperOS is reptile husbandry & breeder software organised around your physical room. Rather than presenting a collection as a list of records, it holds a layout of the actual space — racks, tubs and standalone enclosures arranged as they sit — and you log care by tapping the one in front of you. It spans daily husbandry, feeding, growth tracking, breeding and sales, from a single pet to a full breeding room, without changing product as the collection grows.
It is published by KeeperOS LLC and runs at my.keeperos.app.

Annual billing charges ten months rather than twelve, a saving of 17%. There are no paid add-ons: everything in a tier is in the tier. No tier caps animals, rooms or racks.
KeeperOS is an installable web app. You open it in a browser and add it to your home screen, where it behaves like an app and updates without a store review. There is no App Store or Google Play release today. Two of the products compared below — Reptile Scan and ReptiDex — do ship native store apps, and if that is a requirement for you, it is a real point in their favour.

No. They are separate products with separate domains. KeeperOS is the software application at my.keeperos.app. Hognose Hub is a community and education site at hognosehub.com. KeeperOS is published by the same people, and the footer credits that relationship, but Hognose Hub is not the parent product and KeeperOS is not a section of it.
BreederOS is the breeding module inside KeeperOS, reached at /breederos. It is not a separate product or a separate purchase — it is the part of KeeperOS that handles pairings, clutches, incubation and hatch outcomes, and it unlocks at the BreederOS Pro tier.
ClutchOS is the retired former name of the BreederOS module. The old /clutchos URLs redirect permanently to /breederos and always will, because installed-app deep links and bookmarks are not enumerable. Nothing is called ClutchOS today.

No. There is no animal cap, no room cap and no rack cap on any tier, free included, and no limit on how many records you write. The difference between tiers is which tools you get — care profiles as rules, the Calendar, Insights, feeder inventory, structured genetics, and the breeding module — not how many animals you own.
No. KeeperOS is single-keeper today: one account, one collection, no seats and no roles. BreederOS Teams is announced but not shipped and cannot be purchased. Anyone who needs multi-user access today should look at ReptiDex or Husbandry.Pro instead.

Because depth in one species is more useful to a serious breeder than a shallow trait list across eight, and hognose is the species the person building KeeperOS keeps. That means 319 curated morph records with 185 aliases, real pairing odds, expected-versus-actual clutch scoring and proven-het discovery. More species are in progress at the same depth.

Yes, from CSV, and you can check your file first at /analyze without an account — it parses in your browser and stores nothing. Full historical activity import is not available yet, so animals arrive with their details, a starting weight and a last-fed date rather than every past feeding.
No ads on any tier, and no selling of your data. The product is paid for by subscriptions.
Yes, with no signup — a keeper demo and a fuller breeder demo, both reachable from the homepage. The demo data resets nightly.
A transfer moves the record into the buyer's own KeeperOS account under their own login, keeping a permanent origin id and a frozen snapshot of the history at handover, with per-field toggles for what you share. You can print a certificate, or batch labels for a show table, and a buyer can open a claim page from a QR code without being signed in.
It projects when you will run out. Feeder stock is an append-only ledger, consumption is joined to the feedings you actually recorded, and the projection returns a run-out date per feeder size across a 120-day horizon, based on your real demand rather than an average.
